Atos delivers the next & most powerful supercomputer yet in Nordic countries.
The OS running in it? Linux, of course.
More specifically: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Finland is the country to procure this new supercomputer, that will provide the researchers with leading European computing capacity and enable new research breakthroughs.
For dealing with email overload, I recommend the "read mail" command, with the "really fast" flags: rm -rf <mailbox>

Since we didn't get very many women, enbies, or people of color to submit talks, the folks choosing talks for the Decentralisation & Internet Privacy track at FOSSDEM 19 decided that we'd like to ask of you:
If you submitted a talk, go ask an underrepresented minority friend/acquaintance of yours if they'd like to give the talk with you/in your stead.
CC @fosdem, can we get a little boost 💜?
We scaled the highest point in Spain yesterday. Well ok we had some help: our rental car took us to 2356m and a cable car brought us further up to 3555m. Just walking around near the peak exhausted me: it was cold, the air was thin, the ground was rocky, the winds were strong, I was out of shape and complained every step of the way but thoroughly enjoyed myself :P

Any Debian devs reading this? Would love to nudge a package update along: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=914286
Today I needed to move this futon across the house. Access to it's new location is awkward, so I had to dismantle it and reassemble it in the new place.
This futon is 15 years old. But it's solid oak, and made with care and craftsmanship. It was as easy to dis/re-assemble today as it was 15 years ago.
Quality does matter.
